The Allegan Churches came together to form the Allegan Ministerial Association (AMA) on November 18, 1992.

The AMA purpose was to glorify God through the cooperative efforts of the churches in the vicinity of the City of Allegan (49010).

As the collective Body of Christ in Allegan, we want you to know that you are loved and we are here to serve you. There are many different “flavors” and denominations of churches represented in Allegan, but we are all on the same team and serve the same Lord.

The AMA schedules a number of joint services and events throughout the year such as:

  • Palm Sunday evening service
  • Carrying of the cross  march on Good Friday
  • Good Friday evening service
  • Sunrise Service
  • National Day of Prayer
  • Baccalaureate Service, Allegan High School
  • Allegan Fair Booth
  • Vespers Service for Christmas

At joint events and throughout the year, we take offerings to finance the AMA Fund which helps to supplement the needs of those living within the 49010 zip code.

We, also, encourage and support the missions and ministries taking place at each other’s houses of worship. Click here to see Allegan Houses of Worship.

We continue to seek ways in which we can support our community in ways that demonstrate the love and acceptance of Jesus Christ.
